Now, the yogurt you can buy in most supermarkets is generally fine, but you have to make sure it does not have any preservatives of other artificial flavors that might lessen the health benefits you are looking for. As I’ve tried a number of different brands, I’ve found that nothing beats the taste of homemade yogurt. I prefer to make my own yogurt as I can be sure of the quality of ingredients and the freshness.

Making yogurt at home is quite simple, especially if you have a professional yogurt maker that allows you to experiment with different recipes.
